Before Thanksgiving, a bipartisan panel of congressional leaders has to cut the federal deficit by $1.5 trillion. These lawmakers will decide whether to cut or protect Pell. We don’t have a moment to waste. Speak up for the 10 million hard-working, low-income students who depend on Pell grants to earn their way into the middle class.
In just a couple of minutes, you can make a huge difference for low-income students.
1. HERE’S THE MOST IMPORTANT THING YOU CAN DO: Send a message to your elected officials in Washington, D.C., by entering your ZIP code at the bottom of the page.

Without the scholarship to college I have… who the hell knows WHERE I would be right now… lets not make upward mobility EVEN MORE difficult for the disadvantaged poor…
